The weekend of April 12–14, 2025, was truly unforgettable. I flew in from Calgary and hit the ground running with my co-host Tom Anderson, who’s based in Los Angeles. From the moment we arrived, we were filming content for the Hollywood Elite Podcast—capturing behind-the-scenes moments, and immersing ourselves in the spirit of celebration, connection, and gratitude.

The weekend began with the prestigious Jack Webber Award Ceremony on Friday night. It was a powerful evening dedicated to honoring individuals who’ve made an extraordinary impact in film, television, and community service. As Tom and I mingled with guests and filmed podcast content, we could feel the legacy radiating from the room. The legendary William Shatner took the stage, delivering words full of wisdom and heart that set the tone for the entire weekend. Outside the ballroom, a silent auction raised funds for the Los Angeles Police Museum, and one unforgettable guest arrived in a reproduction of the original 1910 female police officer uniform—a striking tribute to trailblazing women in law enforcement.

But the true highlight of the weekend was the Appreciation Dinner Gala on Saturday night. Along with Samira’s birthday party. Earlier that day, Tom and I helped set up the venue—something few guests would have known, but it made our role in the event feel even more meaningful. The red carpet buzzed with energy as photographers captured glamorous arrivals, laughter echoed through the room, and excitement pulsed in the air.

And then came the dinner—absolutely divine. Fresh sushi, a full buffet, impeccable service, and an atmosphere filled with warmth and celebration. We interviewed throughout the evening, squeezing in moments between hosting and red carpet coverage.

Tom wore a pink bowtie and pocket square to complement my hot pink gown, and the moment we stepped up, the room lit up. The energy was electric. We rocked that stage, shared laughter with the audience, and created a moment I’ll carry with me forever.

Throughout the weekend, we continued to record content for upcoming podcast episodes—interviewing incredible people, forging new connections, and celebrating the unsung heroes of the industry.

This wasn’t just another red carpet event. It was a heartfelt tribute to creativity, resilience, and community. And I’m so grateful I got to experience it—and even more grateful I got to share it with Tom, our guests, and all of you.
