Adriana Daleyza

Exclusive Interview with the Singer Who Refuses to Give Up on Her Dreams

HEM: Adriana, your journey from middle school talent shows to chasing your music dreams as a mother and artist has been anything but easy. What keeps you going?

Adriana Daleyza: (Smiles) Music is in my soul. Even when life threw curveballs—becoming a mom young, going through a tough relationship, or dealing with shady people in the industry—singing was my escape. And my fans? They’re my fuel. When I get messages saying my music got someone through a hard day, it reminds me why I can’t quit.

HEM: You were the girl everyone believed would be famous—signing autographs in high school! Did you ever imagine your path would be this unpredictable?

AD: (Laughs) Not at all! Back then, I thought I’d be on tour by 20. But life humbles you. I wouldn’t change it, though. Being a mom taught me strength I didn’t know I had, and the struggles made my music real. When I sing about heartbreak or resilience now, it’s not just lyrics—it’s my story.

HEM: You’ve faced betrayal and theft in the industry. What advice do you have for artists navigating those pitfalls?

AD: Trust your gut. Early on, I ignored red flags because I was desperate for opportunities. Now? I vet everyone. No contracts without a lawyer. No “investors” who want 80% of my earnings. (Rolls eyes) And I’ll tell any young artist: Your art has value. Don’t let anyone convince you otherwise.

HEM: Your fans are fiercely loyal. How do you connect with them so deeply?

AD: I show them me—the good, the messy, the real. On TikTok Live, I’ll sing acapella in my kitchen after putting my kid to bed. I share my rejections and my wins. People don’t just want a perfect star anymore; they want someone who’s fought like they have.

HEM: What’s next for Adriana Daleyza?

AD: Bigger stages, my own music, and maybe a collab or two. (Winks) But most of all, I  want to prove that dreams don’t expire.  Whether you’re 16 or 36, whether life  knocked you down—you can still rise.

HEM: Last question: If you could tell your  younger self one thing, what would it be?

AD: “You’re not behind. You’re being prepared.” Every detour taught me something I’ll need when that spotlight finally finds me. And it will.
